EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Bash, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or C++.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or oVirt.
  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, and/or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, security, and firewalls.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster psychological safety and open dialogue.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intelligence, and initiative.
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain self-service tools to streamline the software development process, such as automatic provisioning of test environments, automated testing, and releasing pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and product engineers to design solutions that meet requirements for availability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Implement and manage automated solutions for operational aspects like monitoring, performance and capacity planning, and disaster response.
  • Balance system reliability with rapid innovation, ensuring efficient service operations without compromising on quality.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging proactive behavior and aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
