Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are hiring a DevOps / Software Engineer to work on-site with our core engineering team. This role combines infrastructure engineering with backend software development. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure systems while contributing to the development of internal tooling, automation pipelines, and production services.
This is a mid to senior-level role, ideal for candidates who are technically versatile and thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment. You must be comfortable operating across infrastructure and software layers, designing systems, writing code, and supporting deployments in a cloud-native environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience with both C# and Python in production settings
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficient in Bash scripting and Linux system administration
  • Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with system and software design, including scalable and distributed architectures
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, deployment automation, and release workflows

PREFERRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS

  • Working knowledge of C++ or Go
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm)
  • Experience with container security and cloud-native security practices
  • Exposure to service observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using C# and Python
  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system operations
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS and/or Azure) with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
  • Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)
  • Participate in infrastructure and software design reviews, architecture discussions, and security planning
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced on-site environment
