Responsibilities
  • Release Management
  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end release process, including scheduling, planning, and execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for release-related incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor post-release performance and coordinate rollback procedures if needed.
  • Collaboration
  • Collaborate with development, QC, and IT teams to ensure seamless releases.
  • Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including developers, QC, and business teams
  • CI/CD Pipelines and Automation
  • Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient release cycles.
  • Implement automation for build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Agile Practices
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standups (DSUs), grooming sessions, and retrospectives.
  • Version Control
  • Manage version control systems and enforce branching/merging strategies.
  • Configuration Management
  • Maintain and enforce configuration management practices for infrastructure and applications.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track release progress and generate reports to identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve release processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Change Management
  • Follow best practices for change management to minimize risk during deployments.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for release processes, deployment procedures, and issue tracking.
