Join our Global Technology Operations (GTO) Team!
We are looking for DevOps specialist to join our team. If you have 2 years of experience - professional combined with academic experience, this may the role for you!
Location- Hybrid: Saguenay, Montreal or Toronto.

The CGI GTO Transformation team is the creative force behind CGI Unify360 management platform, one of the core components of our worldwide service offering for transformational IT outsourcing enablement called CGI Unify360 Suite. CGI Unify360 is a cloud application, a data platform and an integration gateway to deliver unique user experience for managing todays IT landscape that spans beyond traditional enterprise boundaries.

Professional or educational experience in:

• Programming language C#, C++, Python, Java, HTML, ASP.net, JavaScript, Perl, NodeJS
• Hands on experience in coding, unit testing and debugging in complex programming languages
• Virtualization knowledge, VMware, KVM, Hyper-V
• Cloud Knowldge in Azure, AWS
• Knowledge with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, DockerHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, CI/CD)
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to share knowledge and experience with other team members as directed by functional lead
• Experience with Agile methodology (Jira) is an asset.
• Source control tools (Git)

Desired Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Bilingualism ( French/English) preferre

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

It is built using a very wide spectrum of open source products and software defined infrastructure technologies to allow greater agility and flexibility in order to meet our customer’s specific needs.

• Design, code and unit test modules/components.
• Evolve the product code quality and internal execution efficiency by implementing effective design principles, refactoring, Unit Testing, Test Driven Development.
• Conducts and participates in design, code and test reviews and inspections, ensuring application of software engineering best practices, as well as the feasibility, efficacy and compliance to functional and regulatory standards
• Perform activities in the domains of CI / CD, build and release engineering, artifact management, and other build and release concerns.
• Implement new solutions and / or support existing clients while driving cost effective client focused solutions in an iterative manner.
• Work within a cohesive team to balance priorities, shift responsibilities, and cross-train on a continuous basis.
• Research, develop, and recommend emerging technologies, as well as design and implementation patterns for those technologies, and help others to do the same.
• Other duties as assigned
