We are looking for strong Linux, containerization, and networking expertise, along with hands-on experience in Git and cybersecurity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and security.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Linux System Administration and Troubleshooting: Manage, configure, and optimize Linux-based systems across development and production environments.

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying issues, checking system logs, system resources, service processes, networking, permission and ownership, recovery migration.
  • Containerization: Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Networking: Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Version Control: Use Git for version control, supporting CI/CD pipelines and collaborative development practices.
  • Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and assist in security incident response.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to support reliable and secure infrastructure operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience in a production environment.

  • Proficient in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and security principles.
  • Experience with Git for version control and integration into CI/CD workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity: patching, auditing, threat mitigation, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Other Details: Contract (Initial 6 months), Hybrid in Dublin. Start date: ASAP.
