This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps Tech Lead in EMEA. In this role, you will drive the strategy and execution of advanced DevOps initiatives, shaping robust automation and CI/CD practices across complex infrastructures. You will lead the development of reusable pipeline components, streamline deployment processes, and reinforce security standards throughout the delivery lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help modernize on-prem and cloud platforms while guiding a DevOps task force toward best-in-class engineering excellence. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide transformation and mentor technical teams in a fast-evolving environment. \n Accountabilities: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, with a strong focus on SAP environments. Create, document, and standardize reusable CI/CD pipeline blueprints to support enterprise adoption. Automate existing manual deployment, hardening, and remediation workflows. Define and embed DevSecOps principles, including security and compliance validation. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support both on-prem VMware and cloud platforms GCP / Kubernetes. Establish governance models and best practices to strengthen DevOps maturity across the organization. Act as a technical leader and mentor for the DevOps task force, fostering capability building. Requirements: Strong hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline design, optimization, and scaling. Proven experience working with SAP environments, whether on-prem or cloud-based. Experience creating CI/CD templates, blueprints, or reusable components. Solid understanding of VMware on-prem infrastructures. Experience with Kubernetes and GCP is a significant advantage. Strong background in DevOps / DevSecOps methodologies and automation frameworks. Excellent leadership abilities, documentation skills, and cross-team collaboration capabilities.
