We are hiring a DevOps Technician II, Application Development!
Reporting To: Manager and Team Lead
Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time
Posting Date: July 8, 2025
Closing Date: July 25, 2025
Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Grade: 12.4
Office Location: Toronto, ON Great location! Steps away from the main public transit station

THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • 3-5 years in DevOps or application development area
  • Intermediate to advance level in SQL, .NET, C# and PowerShell
  • Experience in solving complex problems in build, deploy and system monitoring solutions
  • Advance level in source control and branch strategy design
  • Advance level in git bash
  • Intermediate to advance level in Azure DevOps or similar tool stack CI/CD pipeline setup
  • Intermediate to advance level in Windows server and SQL server environment setup
  • Familiar with static/dynamic code analysis and coverage tool such as Veracode and SonarQube
  • Experience with server environment configuration automation
  • Strong understanding of application development methodologies and professional software engineering practices in SDLC
  • Excellent communication skills

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with application development, QA and InfoSec Team to automate and accelerate SDLC process
  • Monitor and support existing systems
  • Application release support
  • Environment configuration and process automation
  • Security tool integration
  • Re-engineer and improve SDLC principles and processes
  • Contribute expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact.
  • Contribute to the improvement of system availability, security and performance
