Job Description Devoteam Cyber Trust is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dedicated team for one of our key clients in the banking sector. This role focuses on the hands-on execution of a wide range of cybersecurity activities. The consultant will serve as a key operational member of the team, working under the guidance of the Senior Consultant and Service Manager to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and support the client’s technology teams in addressing day-to-day security challenges. Contribute to cybersecurity risk assessments for new projects, initiatives, and technologies. Assist in the development and review of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. Support the implementation of the Secure SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) by helping to verify security requirements. Participate in the vulnerability management lifecycle, including tracking vulnerabilities and coordinating remediation efforts. Support the execution of TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management) processes, including the analysis of security risks in procurement. Provide assistance during cybersecurity incident response and audit preparation activities. Gather and prepare data for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to all service domains. Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in cybersecurity consultancy. Proven experience in cybersecurity projects within the banking sector. Practical experience in one or more of the following cybersecurity domains: Security Architecture, Secure SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Vulnerability Management, or TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management). Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High sense of ethics, integrity, and responsibility. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English. Nice to Have: Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and/or Lead Implementer, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly valued. Participation in cybersecurity communities, forums, or professional networks.
