Job Description Devoteam Cyber Trust has an opening for a versatile Vulnerability Management Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a keen interest in cybersecurity, eager to develop their skills in vulnerability management and contribute to strengthening our clients' cybersecurity posture. You will be instrumental in executing vulnerability assessments, analysing results, and collaborating with technical teams to mitigate risks. Execute vulnerability assessments on various systems and applications using industry-standard vulnerability management software. Generate comprehensive reports from assessment tools and effectively communicate findings to technical teams for remediation. Collect and analyse metrics from cybersecurity tools, integrating them into existing reports and templates to track progress and identify trends. Identify and propose improvements to existing vulnerability testing processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms. Assist in the continuous improvement of cybersecurity practices, staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Knowledge of network cybersecurity concepts, including topology, protocols, and components. Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats to systems and applications. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning/analysis tools and/or penetration testing concepts. Practical experience with Checkpoint cybersecurity solutions. Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and concepts. Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and responsibility. Good communication and teamwork skills. Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English. Nice to have: Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Cybersecurity+, CEH). Understanding of cloud cybersecurity principles (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation. Participation in cybersecurity communities, forums, or professional networks.
