CLEARANCE: TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Astrion is seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer, with 6 to 8 years of experience, who is willing to push themselves to learn new skills to support our team in Dahlgren, Virginia. This is a Junior to Mid-Level technical position supporting the US Navy in Dahlgren, Virginia.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years’ experience supporting code deployments to a cloud environment
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in Windows OS
  • Must have active Security+ certification

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kubernetes (ELK) stacks
  • Advanced AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect Professional)
  • Elasticsearch and Kibana certifications
  • Kubernetes Administrator certification
  • CompTIA CASP or CISSP certification
  • Knowledge of C#, Ruby, SQL
  • Proficiency in writing JavaScript
  • Experience with Jira or similar work management and software development tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
  • Experience with automated UI test tools (e.g., TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber etc.)

EDUCATION

BS in STEM field preferred but not required

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily system checks
  • Support code deployments to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
  • Perform CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans, including Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans
  • Capture new processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
