Decision Technologies seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Position Description: The Systems or DevSecOps Engineer supports the development, automation, and security integration of modern software delivery pipelines across cloud, edge, and disconnected operational environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline engineering, GitOps methodologies, containerization, software supply chain security, and infrastructure automation. Responsibilities The Engineer will collaborate closely with platform engineers, software developers, cybersecurity teams, and systems engineers across the following domains: CI/CD Pipeline Engineering Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and related tooling Implement end-to-end build → test → scan → sign → deploy workflows across multiple environments Containerization & Packaging Build and optimize Docker container images for secure, efficient deployment Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kustomize configurations Software Supply Chain Security Generate and maintain Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) artifacts Integrate vulnerability scanning tools for software composition analysis (SCA) and container security Qualifications Active Secret clearance required Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or equivalent platforms Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages Experience supporting secure software delivery and automated deployment processes Experience with AEGIS or other shipboard systems Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Excel Compensation: Compensation at Decision Technologies, Inc. is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
