SR. DEVSECOPS ENGINEER

Location: Hybrid Remote and Havre de Grace, Maryland

About the Position: The DevSecOps Engineer is accountable for overseeing the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of the working product. This Engineer is responsible for enforcing code quality, releasing artifacts, ensuring automated test procedures are followed, and organizing/maintaining the software code repositories. The DevSecOps engineer coordinates with technical team leads to ensure code merge and peer review processes are in place.

THE DEVSECOPS ENGINEER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Working with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline
• Collaborate with the Security Lead to ensure that the tools are compliant with security requirements
• Automate testing where possible
• Ensure that the CI/CD processes align with operational requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Provides hands-on knowledge, working with tools and technologies in, at a minimum, two of the following areas: software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, open source technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years or more experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer or related field required.
