Description

Vacancy: DevSecOps Lead at Centric. Lead software quality, application security, and DevSecOps, work with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, security automation, Secure SDLC, and cloud-native software development.

As DevSecOps Lead | Software Quality & Security, you are the expert who takes the technical quality, security, and software delivery of our software portfolio to the next level. You ensure that software development, cloud deployment, security governance, and DevSecOps principles come together seamlessly within more than 20 business-critical applications for various clients.

You monitor the quality, security, and continuity of our software development chain and know exactly which risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement initiatives deserve priority.

What you do

In this role, you combine Azure DevOps expertise with software quality , security governance , and process improvement .

You work closely with senior engineers, define technical standards, and ensure that our development chain is secure, efficient, and future-proof.

Designing, optimizing, and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Integrating DevSecOps principles within the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Monitoring software quality via SonarQube, CodeQL, SAST, dependency scanning, and security tooling
Implementing secure-by-design and shift-left security strategies
Automating deployments, testing, compliance checks, and security scans
Identifying and mitigating security risks within cloud and application environments
Performing threat modeling, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments
Setting up quality gates, governance standards, and technical guidelines
Coaching development teams on secure coding, OWASP Top 10, and DevSecOps best practices
Developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports related to software quality, security, and delivery performance

Bring this with you

5–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, Security Engineer, or Software Architect
Demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines, and cloud deployment
Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated software delivery
Knowledge of Application Security, secure coding, and OWASP Top 10
Experience with static code analysis, SAST, dependency scanning and vulnerability management
Experience with DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, and security governance
Strong communication and coaching skills. Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
