Description
Position Title: DevSecOps Pipeline Engineer Location: Panama City Beach, FL Clearance: Top Secret (preferred) or Secret (required)   Position Overview  ISPA Technology is hiring a DevSecOps Pipeline Engineer to architect and improve delivery pipelines supporting file share, collaboration, patch distribution, and afloat system support functions. The engineer in this role will help turn manual build-and-release activity into disciplined, automated, security-aware software and infrastructure workflows. You will work with developers, platform engineers, and cybersecurity stakeholders to embed testing, quality checks, security scanning, artifact control, and deployment automation into the pipeline itself. We are looking for a builder—someone who sees bottlenecks, traces them back to their root causes, and replaces them with dependable engineering.    What You Will Do  * Design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines that support build, test, scan, release, and deployment activities.  * Integrate security controls directly into CI/CD workflows, including code analysis, artifact validation, dependency checks, and policy gates.  * Automate software promotion and deployment processes for mission-support capabilities used in shore and afloat contexts.  * Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize branching, versioning, artifact storage, release approvals, and rollback procedures.  * Improve pipeline observability with clear logging, notifications, metrics, and troubleshooting pathways.  * Support infrastructure and application teams with automation patterns that reduce manual effort while improving control and traceability.  Technical Environment  * CI/CD pipeline architecture and automation  * DevSecOps engineering practices and secure release workflows  * Source control, branching strategy, and artifact lifecycle management  * Static and dynamic scan integration concepts  * Automation scripting and orchestration  * Patch distribution or software release support in enterprise environments  * Containerized build environments and reusable pipeline modules  Required Qualifications  * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD or DevSecOps pipelines in regulated, enterprise, or mission-support environments.  * Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle controls, including versioning, artifact handling, quality gates, and release traceability.  * Ability to automate repetitive engineering tasks using scripting and pipeline-native tooling.  * Working familiarity with integrating security scanning and compliance checks into delivery workflows.  * Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.  Preferred Qualifications  * Experience supporting collaboration, file sharing, patching, or afloat mission support systems.  * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tooling.  * Experience in environments requiring strong auditability and change control.    Why ISPA Technology  * Work on meaningful defense and mission-support engineering problems with experienced technical teams.  * Contribute across automation, cyber, platforms, networking, integration, and test—not just one narrow lane.  * Join a culture that values ownership, technical depth, curiosity, and practical execution.  * Live and work in Panama City Beach, Florida, with direct access to a growing technical mission hub.  We are looking for engineers who combine technical depth with practical execution—people who can turn complexity into clarity, and design into dependable results.
