Description
SAIC is seeking a DevSecOps Systems Engineer to fill a critical position on the SAIC’s Prime Program Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle, utilizing a range of Cloud technologies, and operating within a Cloud environment. A Top Secret/SCI Poly is required.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Apply DevSecOps concepts, processes and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, situational awareness, etc.).
  • Support digital engineering strategy and governance development and implementation roadmap planning across contractor and government teams.
  • Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements.
  • Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies.
  • Provide technical support to government points of contact.
  • Collaborate with SETA team members, development contractors, and in customer forums.
  • Effectively communicate and interface with engineers from various contractors and government organizations.
  • Develop assessments and briefings for a variety of audiences, conveying system engineering concepts and decision logic concisely and accurately.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and tools.
  • Experience with systems development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture development.
  • Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations, and maintenance, decommission.
  • Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with limited supervision; excels at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.
  • Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders
