OUR OPPORTUNITY

Work Location: Eliwana - Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama & Pinikura (PKKP) People.
Roster: 7D7R - FIFO Ex Perth
Reporting to the Mine Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance and repairs of the dewatering network electrical equipment across Eliwana. This equipment includes the diesel generators, MIRI radio telemetry units, flowmeters, variable speed drives and electric bore pumps. The dewatering network is critical to dewater mine pits and provide raw water supply to end users.
We are currently seeking an Experienced Dewatering Electrician for roles with Fortescue Eliwana. This role is for FIFO candidates based out of Perth on a 7 days on & 7 days off roster.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Grade WA Electrical license - required.
  • Current C Class WA driving license - required.
  • HRWL – Desirable
  • Dewatering and mining experience - required.
  • Current first aid certificate - required.
  • Certificate IV instrumentation - UEE40411 - desired
  • Experience in VFD and Miri Mapping - desired
  • Experience in computer based Maintenace systems - SAP.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong safety values
