Our Opportunity Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people   Roster: 14D 14R FIFO ex Perth    Join Fortescue’s Iron Bridge team and play a critical role in maintaining essential water infrastructure that supports safe and efficient mining operations. Reporting to the Water Maintenance Supervisor, this hands-on position is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing dewatering equipment including pumps, generators, valves, excavators, and small civil equipment across site operations. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on diesel pumps, generators, and dewatering equipment• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on centrifugal pumps, multistage bore pumps, fire pumps, and associated systems• Respond efficiently to equipment breakdowns and prioritise maintenance activities to minimise operational downtime• Inspect, service, and maintain isolation and control valves to ensure reliability of site water infrastructure• Carry out maintenance activities on heavy road transport equipment, excavators, and small civil equipment as required• Work collaboratively within a high-performing team while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and Fortescue values Qualifications and Experience • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Diesel Fitter• Heavy road transport experience• Experience in servicing excavators and small civil equipment highly desirable• Demonstrated experience in dewatering and bore field maintenance• Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment• Strong commitment to safety, with HR driver’s licence and additional tickets (Forklift, CN, Rigging or Dogging) highly regarded About Us   Be part of something big.
