WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We are looking for a switched-on, self-motivated dairy operator. As someone who can not only use their initiative and work autonomously, you’ll also be a great team player - working collaboratively with others to problem solve and identify improvement initiatives.
This is a busy role where you’ll need a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work well within a team, and high regard for health and safety to succeed. A good understanding and commitment to manufacturing best practice and HACCP principles will also stand you in good stead.

Other key skills and experience include:

  • Experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills (SAP experience preferred)
  • Attained AQF Lvl 1 under Cert of Food processing or equivalent advanced literacy
  • Advance numerous and computer literacy
  • Forklift driving experience and current Forklift Licence is advantageous
Responsibilities

As a Dairy Operator, you’ll be operating, monitoring and cleaning complex process and packing machinery, ensuring the product specifications are met according to our customer requirements.
You’ll also be recording key product and process information in our database and using your mechanical capabilities to carry out basic maintenance checks.
This role with see you work a 38-hour week, predominantly on day shift, but the ability to be flexible for the afternoon will be preferred.
