Title: DG BOSS: Laborer (Groundskeeper) Performs landscaping tasks using power equipment and hand tools to maintain the ground facilities. Maintain improved grounds to ensure a sightly appearance. Maintain lawns to ensure a sightly appearance and uniform grass height. Maintain an edged cut to ensure a neat appearance. Control undesired vegetation to ensure areas are free of undesired vegetation. Remove debris to ensure a clean and neat appearance. Maintain shrubs and hedges to ensure a healthy, uniform, neat appearance and to ensure there is no interference with pedestrians, vehicular traffic, or building encroachment. Maintain plants to ensure a healthy appearance and to ensure there is no interference with pedestrians, vehicular traffic, and building encroachment. Maintain plant beds to ensure a neat appearance and promote plant health. Remove obstructions and control vegetation in storm drainage systems to ensure unrestricted flow of stormwater runoff. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Basic Qualifications Ability to operate various types of power equipment including trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Ability to understand lawn maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and road surface repair. Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments. Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. Must be able to work outdoors in the tropics. Must have physical strength and stamina. Must have a valid country of origin’s driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING: N/A EDUCATION: Must have at least a High School diploma is required.
