Company Description Many logistics service providers pay an increased rate during peak season. You can check this with the specific provider prior to contracting. We’re seeking reliable, hard-working, and motivated Delivery Drivers to join one of our logistics service providers. This is a Delivery Driver role where you’ll spend the majority of your day out on the road - so a passion for driving is a plus! Predefined routes and presorted packages are provided. So, once you've conducted your safety checks and loaded up, you can simply head off and drive. Job Description Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely Adhere to all safety regulations on the road Operate an electronic device for GPS route guidance Greet and interact with customers with a professional and positive attitude Qualifications Must be self employed - Flexible working Independent problem solver with good communication skills in English The ability and willingness to be able to use stairs to deliver packages Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23 kg.) Full and valid UK or EU Manual Driving License (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes) Must have been driving for at least 1 year, 5years desirable Must pass a criminal background check Where vans are provided, they are held overnight at the station therefore you must be able to commute to and from the station Must be at least 21 years old Additional Information Easy and fast application process Safe working conditions Motivated and diverse team 24/7 driver support hotline which helps you when out on the road Pre-sorted packages for your van loading Pre-defined routes Daily interactions with your community Up to 6-day work week + weekends Paid 2 weeks in arrears then weekly there after £130.50 + VAT for 9hr route block, £87 + VAT for 6hr route block
