Could you be our next Diabetes Education Coordinator for Main Line Health Care? This position will travel between our Exton and King of Prussia locations.

Make an Impact! The Diabetes Education Coordinator is responsible for all outpatient diabetes education within the Endocrinology Department. This includes individual and group instruction for all persons with diabetes including Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM), Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM) and Gestational Diabetes (GDM). This education provides persons with diabetes the skill set needed to safely self-manage their individual diabetes. The Diabetes Education Coordinator educates in accordance with the provider’s diagnoses and requirements of ADCES (Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists) and Main Line Health. The Diabetes Education Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate diabetes care plans.

SHIFT: 24 HOURS PER WEEK- MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of Dietitian experience in related field required.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics required.
Master’s Degree Preferred.
