How you’ll contribute A Diabetes Educator who excels in this role: * Independently writes, communicates, and implements teaching interventions for patients, families, significant others. * Delivers educational material using teaching principals and a variety of formats for new pediatric inpatients and outpatients in group and individual sessions. * Delivers educational material appropriate for identified needs utilizing knowledge of growth and development for outpatients in group and individual sessions. * Assists to maintain diabetes supplies. * Provides back up and assists other staff, as necessary. Responsibilities

The Diabetes Educator independently develops and implements teaching interventions for patients and their families in both group and individual settings. They are responsible for delivering educational materials tailored to patient needs and maintaining necessary diabetes supplies.
