This is a key role for a Di abetes dietitian to increase skills both in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes care, across the Hywel Dda locality however regular base can be flexible.
This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with a passion to improve health outcomes across Hywel Dda and a commitment to develop and learn.
If you already have an interest and experience in diabetes , or someone who is keen to use their existing clinical skills in this area this role could be for you.
Delivery of Diabetes dietetics; managing a varied and complex caseload, delivering structured education, working as an integral member of the diabetes dietetic team, working effectively as part of wider multi-disciplinary teams.
Work as an integral member of diabetes multi-disciplinary teams, informing patient care, and supporting excellent nutritional care and diabetes management through evidence-based practice.
Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit and development work, associated with Diabetes / Nutrition and Dietetics. Act as an advocate for Diabetes / Nutrition and Dietetics.
Development and delivery of specialist knowledge-based training and education.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
