Description The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will: Transport patients utilizing safe and efficient transportation methods. Provide the necessary care, safety, and monitoring of patients during transport and waiting periods in the department. Maintain equipment in proper working order reporting malfunctions immediately to appropriate personnel. Keep adequate supplies on hand. Provide overall support to the Diagnostic Imaging department in adherence to practice standards and requirements. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Recent patient care experience (preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Excellent communication skills Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate with patients, healthcare workers, and providers Strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, or the ability to quickly learn and effectively use EHR software Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
