A leading regional healthcare organization is conducting a confidential search for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to support technologists in providing safe, high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate patient care while assisting technologists with imaging procedures, patient transport, and positioning. Enter orders, schedule exams, and communicate physician requests to department staff. Maintain electronic files, distribute patient reports, and coordinate information flow between patients, physicians, and clinics. Screen patients for exams and provide preparation instructions. Restock and prepare exam rooms; deliver necessary imaging supplies. Manage image data, ensuring secure and appropriate access to patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR). Support workflow coordination across clinics, service departments, and physicians. Required Qualifications MediClear Certification (or equivalent healthcare compliance credential) required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: High school diploma or GED. Previous patient care or medical imaging support experience. Familiarity with medical terminology. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay range $20-30, plus potential shift differentials.
