Diagnostic Imaging Radiology Clinical Instructor Job Responsibilities: Provides work assignments, direction and support to Radiology Students based on program and individual student needs. Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies prior to procedures beginning. Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications, as evidenced by exam results. Additional Qualifications: Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start; American Registered Radiologic Technologists Upon Start, Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT or ARDMS or CNT or CVT or NMTCB or RVT or CAMRT or NMTCB; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required. Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital and/or in Nuclear Medicine. Experience - Three years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/ healthcare environment. Education - Associate’s degree or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification. Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
