What you’ll do The Diagnostic Manager ensures the timely, high quality in-market companion diagnostics / testing solutions to enable optimal treatment throughout the patient journey. An important element of the Diagnostic Manager’s role is therefore to develop strategic and long-term partnerships with relevant oncology stakeholders and decision makers in the complex oncology ecosystem, based on a deep scientific understanding of diagnostic tests and the clinical operational issues on the testing pathway, enabling tailored testing solutions to be developed. Typical Accountabilities: Translate high-level/cross-therapy diagnostics strategy into actionable strategic plans, tailored specifically for the assigned therapeutic area(s). Drive the implementation of diagnostics projects across the therapy area, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scientific standards are met. Build and maintain productive, trusted partnerships with therapy-specific stakeholders, such as pathologists, scientific officers, molecular biologists, KOLs, and clinical teams, facilitating regular feedback and alignment meetings. Monitor and evaluate project progress, collect comprehensive data, and ensure that lab and scientific stakeholder insights are systematically used for operational and strategic optimization. Mentor and coach Diagnostic Liaisons, promoting knowledge-sharing, skills-building, and professional development that keeps the field force agile and effective. Collaborate closely with medical and commercial teams to ensure diagnostics projects are integrated with broader therapy objectives. Lead efforts in evidence generation and reporting, contributing to publications, best practice development, and strategy adaptation that enhance diagnostics’ clinical and business value. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on patient impact and scientific excellence within the therapy area. Qualifications Have a degree in medical or scientific field Have experience of broad range of oncology diagnostic, pathology, and therapeutic marketing Have Proven experience with a broad base of external stakeholders including prescribers, payers, providers and track record of effective management of decision-making bodies and governance Fluent English Have knowledge of healthcare environment or health economics is a plus Well-versed in therapy area diagnostic platforms, workflows, and emerging trends.
