This unique Band 5 post offers something rare: the chance to gain dedicated MRI experience at an early stage in your career, while still consolidating your skills in X-ray and CT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Band 5 Radiographer to join our team at the Wembley Community Diagnostic Centre, supporting our 7 days extended evening MRI service from 16:00 to midnight.
You will be part of an innovative MRI service model, where an experienced senior radiographer operates the scanner remotely using advanced technology, while you provide expert on-site support for patients and service delivery. This new way of working has already received national recognition for improving efficiency and patient access and offers you a unique opportunity to gain hands-on MRI experience within a pioneering team.

Support preparation of MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
Operate MRI technology and equipment safely and professionally, following all local and national guidelines.
Carry out appropriate patient safety checks, including MRI safety screening.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images in line with departmental protocols.
Support imaging in service in CT and X ray at Willsden CDC.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, radiologists, and support staff to deliver an effective imaging service
Provide a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.
Ensure patients are fully informed and supported before, during, and after their procedure.
