Responsibilities The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Intern supports patient care by performing quality radiology procedures and consistently focuses on customer service and safety. Reviews and evaluates images within the Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to ensure quality. Overseen by the Diagnostic Radiology Technologist. Enhances quality by participating in performance improvement. Supports the Radiology department and reports to the Radiology Diagnostic Supervisor. Qualifications Job Requirements: Must be attending an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and be registry eligible. Become registered by the ARRT within one year of graduation or hire date. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Responsibilities
The intern supports patient care by performing quality radiology procedures under the supervision of a technologist. They also participate in performance improvement initiatives and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
