Description The Diagnostic Technician specializes in using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems in vehicles. Responsibilities Technical Expertise: Use diagnostic equipment to scan vehicles for codes and identify potential problems. Analyze diagnostic data to pinpoint the root cause of issues. Perform tests and inspections to verify diagnoses. Repair or replace faulty components as needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques. Customer Service: Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service. Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary paperwork, including repair orders and work estimates. Manage inventory of parts and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications: Technical certification or diploma in automotive diagnostics. Experiences: Prior experience using automotive diagnostic equipment. Prior automotive technician experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Ability to use advanced diagnostic equipment and software. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret diagnostic data accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
