Role Description
Business Developer for diagnostics business in the veterinarian field, responsible for leading the implementation of business strategy with the center and southwest region of Mexico. Expert at promoting diagnostics devices and managing distribuitors relationships.
Main Responsibilities
Build strong and collaborative relationships with our existing Professional Sales Representatives to identify and develop Vetscan Diagnostic opportunities
Partners with the Territory Sales Manager to achieve overall quota for the territory
Provide expert sales support to existing Professional Sales Representatives in veterinary clinics, with an emphasis on the adoption and utilisation of the Zoetis Point of Care Diagnostic offering.
Consistently achieve diagnostic sales targets through placement of Vetscan products.
Increase market share of the entire diagnostic portfolio.
Efficiently maintain CRM sales pipeline data and all administrative requirements associated with the execution of the sales process.
Manage Business Reviews with Distribuitors in order to successfully address account plans and ensure roles and responsibilities fulfilment
Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience)
Education: MVZ, QFB, IBT, or engineering
Experience: A proven sales track record with at least three years of experience working as a sales professional or a customer facing role in the diagnostics or veterinarian business
Experience selling or promoting laboratory products or capital equipment will be highly regarded.
Candidate must possess a practical & analytical mindset and demonstrable critical thinking skills
Must have the availability and willingness to travel and be flexible to accommodate our customer’s needs.
Have an ability to work autonomously.
Be a team player and contribute to a high-performing team
Represent Zoetis at local, regional, and national trade shows
Skills:
Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information
Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
Effective organisational & planning skills
A strong understanding of diagnostics operations, functions, and management including but not limited to diagnostic applications, training requirements, and workflow processes
Basic knowledge of diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic processes
A willingness and commitment to ongoing professional development
