Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Diagnostic Solutions Expert within bd’s Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) division, you will deliver professional services to support commercial opportunities in the Benelux region. Your primary focus will be on laboratory users of the specimen management solutions portfolio, though not exclusively.
This field-based role involves significant customer interaction. You will provide professional services, including product training, implementation and support, targeted upselling of key products, and consulting activities such as preanalytical quality checks (paqc) and workflow mapping.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Deliver targeted and customized trainings to specific accounts on selected focus products. This will include delivery of clinical and laboratory training for Specimen Management portfolio, both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Support Specimen Management Solutions & IDS product evaluations in targeted accounts.
  • Support product manager in answering tenders and represent BD during congresses
  • Provide expert clinical/application support related to complaint, troubleshooting and product issues, on site and remotely. Understand the analyzers (3rd party vendor) workflow. Ensure the accurate follow up with customer.
  • Delivery of consulting services in targeted accounts to support share gain, retention or expansion. This may include PAQC, Day In Your Labs, Lean and workflow mapping tool deployment.
  • Partner with Account Managers to support achievement of territory and country business objectives
  • Contribute to the understanding of current and future customer needs in liaison with the product manager, medical affairs- and account manager through sales visits with account managers
