Our Opportunity Work Location: All Pilbara Operations    Roster: 8 Days on 6 off. FIFO ex Perth/Busselton   As part of the Resource Definition Drilling team reportinf to the Senior Diamond Geologist, this role is accountable for the safe execution and geological integrity of diamond drilling campaigns, ensuring accurate core logging, QAQC compliance, and reliable data collection to underpin Fortescue’s mining operations in the Pilbara Western Australia.  Key Responsibilities Monitoring safety compliance in the field Daily supervision of diamond core rigs Day-to-day management of drilling campaigns High quality logging of diamond core (lithological and Geotechnical logging) Qualifications and Experience Tertiary degree in Geoscience ArcGIS proficiency Geological database systems experience Knowledge of Pilbara geology and mineralisation styles Iron ore mineralogy and texture knowledge Core logging (including QAQC and Downhole Geophysics) MS Office proficiency Drill rig management experience 4WD operation and maintenance Full C-class manual driver’s licence Current First Aid Certificate About Us   Be part of something big.
