Description
Position Responsibilities * Follow instructions on route sheets in setting up and operating various machinery and follow inspection procedures on route sheet to inspect finished product * Responsible for secondary operations on parts including drilling, tapping, sanding and deburring * Set-up Die-Cast Machine for new production run configuring the equipment to  manufacture specific parts * Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures when required * Assist in Preventative Maintenance (PM) following procedures * Maintain segregation of materials and keep accurate part counts * Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition * Perform data entry functions in relation to lot records and quality control records * Comply with all company policies including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices *  Perform other duties as required/assigned Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1-2 years of previous machine operator experience preferred * Mechanically inclined, able to read blueprints and follow written instructions * Ability to set-up Die Cast Machine (will provide training) * Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers * Must be able to lift, push, and move 50-75 lbs. frequently * Must be able to perform repetitive motions  *  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (50%+) Work Hours Monday-Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm Overtime as available    
Responsibilities
The operator is responsible for setting up and operating die-cast machinery according to route sheets, performing secondary operations like drilling and tapping, and ensuring quality inspection of finished products. They must also maintain material segregation, track part counts, and perform necessary data entry for lot and quality control records.
