Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Diecaster with hands-on experience in high-pressure die casting (HPDC). This role is ideal for a skilled operator looking to contribute to a progressive manufacturing environment and take on greater responsibility over time.
However, if you do not have direct die casting experience but have a background in a similar industrial, engineering, or metalworking sector, and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, we would still like to hear from you. Full training can be provided to the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate high-pressure die casting machines (aluminium and/or zinc).
  • Prepare dies, check shot weights, and monitor machine settings to ensure consistent output.
  • Perform in-cycle and first-off part inspections using gauges, micrometers, and visual checks.
  • Identify and report defects or mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and machine maintenance.
  • Assist with die changes and routine machine setups as needed.
  • Support production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and team problem-solving.

COULD THIS BE THE RIGHT ROLE FOR YOU?

If you have the drive to work in a skilled, fast-paced environment and take pride in producing high-quality components for leading brands, then we want to hear from you—whether you’re already in the trade or ready to train for it.
