Pay Information $36.04 - $41.19 per hour Job Purpose This position supports the maintenance of Hi or Low Pressure Die Cast Cylinder Head Dies and Sand Mold Core Making Dies. This includes the support of other Die Service Technicians, Staff and Team Leaders, and working with Production and Engineering teams to improve die maintenance and part quality characteristics. Key Accountabilities Support equipment / die downtime in a dynamic fast-paced environment Develop and support equipment / die improvement projects Support weekend and shutdown equipment / die activity Support training of other equipment / die associates Support of the engineering group in short / long term projects Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Experience: 2 years in the mechanical and/or die mold maintenance field – Co Op acceptable Other Job-Specific Skills: Welding, Machining, Hand Finishing, Blueprint Reading Working Conditions Work in production environment requiring personal protective equipment and lockout in manufacturing operations Working near molten aluminum, hydraulic oils, cutting lubricants Hands-on investigation and troubleshooting of product & die to countermeasure issues and to determine improvement activity Working with hand/power tools, quality gauging and instrumentation 90% manufacturing lineside activity / 10% office environment 10-15 hours overtime per week Possible weekend or off shift support as necessary Travel 5% (domestic) What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
