For more information, visit essexsolutions.com.     POSITION OVERVIEW   This position will work Monday - Friday, day shift.    The Die Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning dies used in manufacturing processes.   Primary Responsibilities · * Organize and inventory enamel dies, finish dies, CRD’s and other production tooling for daily production needs * Collect enamel dies, finish dies, CRD’s and other production tooling from the production floor to clean and prepare for next usage * Clean, inspect, and stage all production tooling needed for next-day production  * Communicate with supervisors & associates * Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices * Maintain cleanliness and organization of Die Shop and assigned work areas * Other Duties as assigned    * Use of tools including but not limited to: * Wire cutters * Pliers * Micrometers * Drills and handheld rotary tools (aka Dremel Tools) * Microscope cameras   Education Requirements · High school diploma or GED equivalent     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required · Previous experience in a manufacturing environment   Computer Equipment and Software Requirements · Microsoft Office Suite Qualifications Preferences · Associate’s degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Making or related field. · Experience with CNC machining and programming · Central Die Certification training
