Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking full time Diesel Engine Mechanic for our Richmond Service Center. Our Diesel Engine Technicians are responsible for: Diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding Cummins, Detroit, and Paccar engines. Performing work as assigned by the Shop Foreman in a timely and thorough manner. Maintaining a superior standard of workmanship in all services performed. Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing aftertreatment systems across multiple engine platforms. Advising the Shop Foreman of recommended changes to services ordered and identifying additional repairs needed. Dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and testing diesel engines and components utilizing specialized tools and equipment. Attending training sessions as required to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, machinery, and servicing techniques. Performing additional repairs when equipment is returned due to workmanship issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintaining accurate work order records and time-clocked jobs. Additional duties as assigned.
