What you’ll be doing As a Diesel Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will: Deliver quality services – Conducting effective rebuilds, repairs and maintenance on a range of Caterpillar Equipment Componentry to OEM specifications. Increase productivity – Complete all repairs and overhauls safely and within required timeframes. Follow the right procedures – Use service manuals, technical data and diagnostic tooling to guarantee accurate repairs. Maintain accurate documentation – keep detailed reports and associated paperwork for all rebuild and repair tasks. Conduct detailed inspections – assess all disassembled parts for reusability in line with specified guidelines. Ensure cleanliness and quality – uphold the highest standards at all times. Work efficiently – adhere to the daily overhaul schedule to meet operational requirements. Promote and maintain safety – operate in a safe manner across all tasks. Who are we and why work with us?
