DIESEL FITTERS/DIESEL MECHANICS - BDS CAIRNS

We currently have permanent positions available for Diesel Fitters and Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Cairns. This is a full-time position and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned and growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we’re never too far away.

• Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
• General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
• Checking vehicle lighting systems
• Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
