Greene Lumber, a member of The Baillie Group, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Davenport, NY. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on company equipment, trucks, and trailers. Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs involving ABS, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, and engine components. Troubleshoot using manufacturer flow charts and factory software. Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with drivers and team members. Assist with general yard and equipment tasks as needed. Requirements 2-3 years experience as a diesel mechanic or relevant mechanical background (all skill levels considered). Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
