JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within automotive or heavy equipment repair.
  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment operation including forklifts and farm machinery.
  • Experience with fabrication, assembly, electrical systems, shocks & struts, brake repair, alignment, and tire service.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
