Performs inspection, maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailers and straight trucks. Responsible for diesel and gas engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems. Keeps track of the maintenance work on the vehicles. Perform engine rebuilds and other mechanical repairs. Ensures services provided are in compliance with safety procedures. Performs annual and semiannual DOT inspections.
Job requirements include:
· Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Class A CDL
· State inspection license required
· Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
· Working knowledge of shop equipment such as diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
