Seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B for our growing fleet shop who distributes many iconic brands. Shift: Monday - Friday 1:00PM - 9:30PM Pay: $41.00 - $43.00/hr, depending upon experience Why work for Reyes Fleet Management? 4 Weeks paid time off + Holiday pay Yearly performance raises ASE Incentive Pay (up to $2.00 additionally with ASE Certifications) CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active license) Career advancement opportunities 401K with Employer Match Referral bonuses and Reyes Reward program Health, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plans Tool & Boot annual payout Company provided uniforms Company paid Life Insurance Great work culture and clean facilities Financial and wellness discounts and much more Position Responsibilities: The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 to 2 plus years of related experience Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Preferred Education and Experience: Technical School Certification Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
