Description Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center – On-Site Position Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a dependable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our high-volume, fast-paced truck service center. If you have experience in diesel repair, preventative maintenance (PM), tire services, or commercial truck maintenance, we want to hear from you. Our shop services heavy-duty diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and commercial equipment daily. This is a great opportunity for experienced diesel mechanics or entry-level technicians looking to grow their career in a stable, nationally recognized travel center environment. Requirements Schedule Requirements Weekends required Must be 18 years or older On-site position (not remote) Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on heavy-duty diesel trucks Complete oil changes, lube services, and fluid checks Inspect, remove, replace, balance, and align commercial truck tires Conduct multi-point inspections on diesel engines and fleet vehicles Check and maintain coolant, brake, transmission, and engine fluid levels Accurately document service findings and repair recommendations Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant service bay Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Provide professional customer service when interacting with drivers and fleet customers Qualifications Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Lube Technician, or Tire Technician preferred Experience in heavy-duty truck repair, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service is a plus Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use diagnostic and repair tools Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced truck shop environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay + bonus potential Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holiday pay Employee discounts Career advancement opportunities within a nationally recognized travel center Our Company is family-owned and operated since 1964!
