Description Ideal Ready Mix is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to keep our heavy construction equipment and fleet in top shape. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, troubleshoot problems, and keep things running smoothly, we want to hear from you. What you'll do: Diagnose, repair, and service heavy construction equipment, trucks, and other fleet vehicles. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance. Work on gasoline and diesel engines, plus mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Complete and maintain accurate service records and reports. Train drivers and operators on proper vehicle inspection and maintenance proceduresl. Respond to on-call maintenance needs as required. Requirements 1-3 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred (or equivalent post- secondary training). Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement required. Ability to provide your own tools. Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to travel, work weekends, and be on call when needed. Why Ideal?
