MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility located in Middletown, OH. This individual is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation at the Middletown AK Steel / Cleveland-Cliffs facility.   Shift Details: Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.   Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain and service fleet vehicles and equipment. * Troubleshoot and repair wash trucks, vacuum trucks, vans, trucks, water blasters, Lulls, forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment. * Perform DOT annual inspections. * Complete preventative maintenance, including oil changes, transmission services, tire replacements, and routine inspections. * Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs. * Maintain accurate records within the fleet management system. * Perform welding as needed. * Utilize diagnostic scanners and tools for troubleshooting. * Minimal travel required. * Flexibility to support after-hours call-outs and emergency situations. Requirements and Qualifications: * Minimum of two years of diesel mechanic experience. * High School Diploma or GED. * Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems. * Valid OSHA 10-Hour Certification. * Experience performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance. * Familiarity with diagnostic scanners and electronic troubleshooting tools. * Flexible schedule, including overtime, callouts, and emergency repairs. * Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
