The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety of our fleet. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components. * Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups. * Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems efficiently. * Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies as needed. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent. * Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role. * Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. * Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
