Job Description Days and Shift Information Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 40 hours per week (Full-Time) Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on off-road Mack and Freightliner trucks Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel and electronic engine issues Maintain hydraulic, air brake, spring, and air suspension systems Order parts and manage maintenance inventory Operate service vehicles as needed to support operations Work Environment Outdoor mill site and service garage Hands-on, physically active role with exposure to heavy equipment Safety-focused culture with independent and team-based work Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required Experience 2–5 years of experience in diesel or heavy vehicle maintenance Must have own tools Familiarity with Mack/Freightliner engines Understanding of electronic engines, hydraulic systems, and air brake systems Ability to read and understand repair manuals Comfortable operating service vehicles Personality Traits Self-motivated and able to work independently Safety-conscious and dependable Willingness to take initiative and lead by example Strong problem-solving skills Additional Information Pay Rate $28hr-$30hr Paid Time Off Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year Two weeks of vacation + one week PTO accrued on first anniversary Health & Insurance Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Life Insurance and Disability Coverage All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
