Welcome to Love’s: The Diesel Mechanic Support Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance in diagnosing roadside breakdowns or issues and recommending repair solutions. This position acts as a mechanic support hotline to our diesel mechanics across the country. Additionally, this role provides support to our dispatchers when needed. This position is in a fast-paced, high service environment where business is conducted with integrity and in a positive, respectful, and timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary vocational education strongly preferred
• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience required

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Hard skills: Computer Skills, Microsoft Office, Typing
• Soft Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, customer focused, ability to learn quickly, team player, attention to detail, thorough follow-up, and ability to multitask
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision
